Los Angeles is a wasteland with gangs and tanks fighting constantly. The outskirts are filled with green fog and is mostly deserted. The only places that aren't in ruins are the district of Hollywood, still thriving with business and still the center of the movie business, as well as Beverly Hills and the Westside, home of the La Brea Tar Pits.
Many television shows such as All My Circuits are filmed in the city in studios such as Universal Studios and Parallel Universal Studios. The headquarters of 30th Century Fox also are here where the spotlights blind plane pilots and then film the resulting crashes to use as film footage.
Los Angeles still has an inadequate and underused mass transit system.
